Some fun things we can do :
~when we do our mmsts we can make it into a ribbon so we can have something tangible to show us all of our hard work.
~an itune download.
~a trashy magazine to distract us from wanting to snack.
~a pretty journal &/or pen to write down how awesome we are
~ flowers or a plant
We also need to come up with a "goal" to strive for every week to stay motivated to win one of these things.
I love all of the ideas. I also thought we could each come up with a few things we are really proud of. I will have some paper that we can write on. We will scroll it up and keep it in a jar. As it fills up it will remind us of how awesome we are.
ReplyDeleteIf we each lose 5 lbs in 1 week (by Monday) we will have reached 20 lbs total. Do you think we can hit 25 as a group? Can everyone afford to bring a single dollar bill for every lb they lose? If we can all do this, maybe we can fill the money jar and at the end we can all go do something fun with the money! New flip flops, itune cards.. ? Just a thought.
I love the ribbon idea. I have some here we can use, or bring a roll of your own.
I think we should have a "coffee off". Bring you best recipe for a good drink we can all have on this diet. I would probably have all the ingredients we need. We can then make them all (secretly) and have a taste off! Fun way to get ideas and be creative. Maybe we can do it with chicken or something the next week.. ?

LOVE all these ideas Tara!! I would love some drink recipes and would LOVE to fill a jar with $$!! I am thinking we spend it on massages or some pampering!

ReplyDeleteThe money jar is a GREAT idea! It will be a great way to celebrate our accomplishments together at the end of the month...if we decide to do that can I still buy myself a trashy magazine with skinny chicks all over it to motivate and distract me?
ReplyDeleteI like the pedicure and massage idea! I don't know if I'll have any good drinks or recipes. Right now, I'm doing plain. But I will gladly receive some yummy recipes!
